| Roland Schneider - Thuringia - nature lover
Our life is marked by a constant consumption. Many people see themselves only as consumers and do not realize this, that they been manipulated into this role.

Under the guise of satisfying needs, artificially created needs are satisfied that only serve the goal of maximizing the profits of a few. Hardly any consideration is given to nature and the environment or the availability of various resources.
Growing up in the countryside, I was influenced by a simple way of life that does not mean doing without, but rather prosperity with low resource consumption. It was always normal for us not to consume much, but to always be full and satisfied. In my view, the most important way to achieve this normality is to live in harmony with nature.
For me, there are a few principles that I follow almost instinctively. For example, sustainability is one of my top priorities. A natural product has priority over an industrial product. Wooden furniture is more important than chipboard furniture. Plastics are only accepted where there is hardly any other solution. Packaging is avoided as far as possible. And so on.
For me, what is really important has nothing to do with consumption. Good food is not necessarily the same as going to a fancy restaurant. For me, enjoying fresh fruit or vegetables also has something to do with prosperity.
Rest, for example, is very important for most people. Even for those who don't even know it. But money can rarely buy this peace and quiet. What you can buy, on the other hand, are all those disturbing devices, some of which do more harm than good. Many of our fellow human beings do not realize how they are becoming more and more addicted to industry-driven consumption. Of course, this goes hand in hand with an ever-increasing consumption of energy and raw materials.
In 2007, I stumbled across Roland Mösl's website.
I have decided to support him in his efforts to create a better world without the destructive mania that currently prevails.
Roland Mösl helped me to design my own websites, with which I can publish my world view and do educational work for a peaceful approach to our natural resources.
I support Infinitism with my sponsoring membership and through my work. |
