Co-founder and Managing Director, Zellhoff GmbH. He is an entrepreneur, developer and technologist specializing in electronics, mechatronics, energy storage and system integration.






He graduated from HTL Steyr and then studied mechatronics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. He also taught as a professor in the field of electronics at the HTL Steyr for three years. Karl Zeilhofer has been active as an electronics service provider since 2008 and has been combining in-depth technical expertise with entrepreneurial practice ever since. He has been managing Gartenkraftwerk OG since 2021 and Zellhoff GmbH, of which he is a co-founder, since 2024. His work focuses on the development of durable, technically sophisticated energy solutions and the establishment of regionally anchored industrial value creation. In addition to his operational activities, Karl Zeilhofer has been one of the investors in Gemini Next Generation AG, which is developing a future-oriented overall solution for residential construction and energy production, from the very beginning. He thus combines technological development, entrepreneurship and strategic investment in future-oriented infrastructure. Karl Zeilhofer lives in southern Upper Austria and stands for a clearly technology-driven approach: robust products, a high level of development depth, long-term thinking and a consistent focus on real solutions for the energy transition.
